SAJE Important News

Hello All, Thank you to all of you attended the Purim Party and also to those who helped make it a great success including Leah Gimbel, Avi Levin, Sam Englander, Danya Lagos, and the Hillel staff. I wanted to update you on several matters: 1. I met with Dining executives from UChicago and Aramark and we are just trying to finalize Passover food plans. If you have any ideas for anything that would help enhance your holiday culinary experience please feel free to share, especially if you are a vegetarian. Additionally, the UChicago administration would like to do something special at the kosher station after Passover and we are tyring to come up with a culinary delight that will be enjoyed by all. Please share any and all ideas. They understand that we do not get to eat a large range of foods in the dining hall so they want to give back in some way. 2. SAJE is looking for new board members to get involved. If you are interested in any board position including those that are currently occupied, please email me at bdauber@uchicago.edu. Also please feel free to nominate anybody. We would like to get more students coming from all different aspects of Judaism involved so that we could have the most effective, dynamic programming. 3. If you would like to help plan an event for Spring Quarter, please let me know what the idea is and we can start working together.
