Come meet the wonderful Jen Taylor Friedman!
Jen is the first woman to write a Sefer Torah, the creator of Tefillin Barbie, and a wonderful teacher and mentor who has initiated many women into the world of sofrut, traditional Hebrew calligraphy. She will be leading a text study exploring how the Rabbis preserve Jewish narrative in a context of profound cultural change.
There will be a light dinner after the shiur, so please RSVP.
Also, join us next week for our Scholar-in-Residence series! Joel Goldstein, former engineer and current Talmud teacher, will be back on campus Monday evening! Stay tuned for more details.
