Aaron Segal Shabbaton this week! (And lecture, with pizza!)

Good evening, everyone! Hope all is well.

This week is the first Aaron Segal Shabbaton of the quarter! Here are the topics:

• Friday, 5:45-6:45PM: "Az Yashir': Rejoicing at the Downfall of One's Enemy Is it apropos for the quintessential "song" of the Bible to coincide with the desrtruction of Egypt?
• Saturday, 3:35-4:35PM: "Amalek: Halakhic and Theological Reflections" Why did G-d give us genocide as one of our first commandments?
• Saturday, 5:05-5:25PM: "On Shalosh Seudos" Some context to why you're there eating.

As usual, he'll be eating all of his meals with us, too. We'll send out exact times for the lectures as soon as we get them.

Also this week is, as usual, Aaron Segal's lecture on Wednesday at 7, "The Tale of Honi van Winkle". RSVP by tomorrow at 1 for free pizza! If you're wondering "who?" read Wikipedia. You won't be any less confused, so it should be a great lecture!
