Gilla Rosen - "The 10 Commandments and Society Today" Tuesday 2/7, 5:00-6:00 PM, Hillel
Gilla Rosen, an acting director at the Nishmat seminary for Jewish women and advisor in Jewish law, will be speaking about how the Ten Commandments are relevant in contemporary society and relate to our daily interactions.
No background in Judaism expected - this is accessible to people of all faiths - so please bring your friends, too. ;)
There will be light refreshments.
After the lecture, Gilla will be available to talk about Nishmat's Alisa Flatow Program, a text-based Jewish Studies program in Jerusalem for Jewish women of all backgrounds.
